The Austin Air HealthMate is effective and easy to maintain.

I have personally used two Austin Air HealthMates and one Austin Air HealthMate Jr. for over five years now, running them almost continously the entire time. I have one in my bedroom, one in my office, and one in my living-room. They have allowed me to tolerate meetings with people wearing perfume as well as to clear areas with odors that I cannot tolerate. I recently tested my five year old office HealthMate next to a brand new unit and was amazed that it was running just as quietly as the brand new one. I have not done a filter change in the entire five years and it is still removing odors effectively.
